Ingredients:
Donut holes:
1 large riped banana or (1.5 medium size)
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
60ml milk
40g brown sugar
130g all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Maple cinnamon glaze:
80g powdered sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1-2 tbsp milk
Instructions:
In a bowl, add in the mashed banana, egg, sugar, milk and vanilla. Whisk together until smooth.
Add in the flour, cinnamon and salt
Whisk again until batter is somewhat smooth and u see no clumps of flour!
Add oil to pan.
When the oil is hot, add a dollop of dough into the oil. Let it fry for 2-3 minutes on one side and flip them. It should be a nice light brown color.
Transfer onto paper towel so it can absorb the oil.
Make the maple cinnamon glaze. In a bowl, add in the powdered sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup. Mix and slowly add in the milk.
Roll each donut hole in the glaze and let it set.
I tried this and they burnt immediately do you know why it might be? I’ve fried things in the past
How many does this make?
