CHOCOLATE GLAZED DONUTS 🍩
The best moist and soft chocolate donuts dunked in a shiny sweet vanilla glaze!
These donuts are also baked! No frying required!!
The sweetness of these donuts balance so well with a cup of coffee! They’re soft, fudgy, and tender inside. They also have crispy exterior coated in a sweet, crackly old-fashioned glaze
Ingredients:
110g all purpose flour
16g cornstarch
90g sugar
6 tbsp Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp instant espresso powder
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla
170g greek yogurt
60g milk
40g avocado oil
Glaze:
200g powdered sugar
4 to 8 tablespoons milk
1 tsp Vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 f. Grease your donut pan
In a bowl, add in the milk, egg, greek yogurt, oil, and vanilla.
Whisk until well incorporated.
In a medium bowl sift in and combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, espresso powder and pinch salt.
Pour batter in a piping bag, pipe the batter into the donut pan. It should be about half way full.
Bake the donuts for 9-10 minutes.
Take the baked donuts out of the pan onto the cooling rack.
While that cools, make the glaze. In a medium bowl, add the powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Whisk util smooth. If you want a thinner consistency add more milk or water.
Dip the donuts into the glaze and let it set on a wired cooling rack.
