Brown butter Iced oatmeal blondie bars
Its like a warm oatmeal cookie but in a blondie bar form. Its SUPER soft and chewy center filled with a nutty warm flavor. Topped with a sweet vanilla glaze.
i love how chewy it is! its literally reminds me of my grandmas classic oatmeal cookies in a bar form
coziest dessert!

Ingredients:
127g unsalted butter (brown) (after browning it should equal to 113g. If there’s less, add a few drops of softened butter in)
100g dark brown sugar
70g granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp baking soda
90g quick oats
135g all purpose flour
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
Directions:
Line a 7x7 square pan
In a saucepan, add in the butter and brown it. After browning, your butter should weight 113g. If not add a bit more to the hot butter.
Let it cool for 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350f.
Add in the dark brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Mix well until sandy.
Add in the egg, honey and vanilla. Mix again.
Add in the flour, quick oats, cinnamon and baking soda. Use a spatula to fold everything together. (Do not use rolled oats. quick oats are a lot finer and chewy!)
Pour the batter and spread evenly onto the lined pan.
Bake for 22-25 minutes!
While it cools, make the icing. IN a bowl, combine the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
Let it cool completely before adding the icing on top.
When its cooled, pour the icing on top! Slice and serve!
What are the measurements for the powered sugar, milk, and honey?
Thank you!
