banana pudding blondies
a super fudgy brown butter blondie base, topped with magnolia bakery banana pudding on top!
The brown butter & banana combo is actally SO elite
blondies:
1/2 cup butter melted & browned
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup all purpose flour
1 mashed banana (half cup)
1/4 cup chopped pecans
frosting:
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 oz vanilla pudding mix (instant)
Additional toppings:
Wafers
Banana slices (from 1 banana)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350. Add the butter into saucepan and brown it!
Let is come to room temp
In a bowl, add the browned butter and sugar. Beat together ! Add in the mashed bananas and beat again.
Add in the egg and vanilla extract and give it a good stir.
Sift in the dry ingredients and fold everything together.
Add everything in a 7x7 pan. Bake for 25 minutes!
Let the blondies cool and then make the frosting.
In a separate bowl, make the pudding frosting. In a bowl, add in the milk, instant pudding, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth consistency and put the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes.
While that is in the fridge, add the heavy cream in a bowl and whisk until stiff peak.
Take the pudding mixture out of the fridge and fold everything together!
Top the frosting on top of the blondies and add more banana & wafers!
